Sketchbook Update

It has been nearly a year and a half that I've had a "serious" sketchbook, and I am proud to say that it is nearly full! I spent the majority of 2016 focusing on academics and saving up to go on trips this year, and barely drew anything in the meantime... I'm glad I did, though. I have received wonderful opportunities at school and also spent more time with my family without worrying over social media.

2016 was a tough year for everyone, but I'm happy to see that things are looking up now.

Quoting from the article I taped on the page shown, "Escape is often about physical location, but the mind's ability to escape can be just as powerful."

Interesting how people view hobbies as an escape mechanism. I think they are what improve reality.
